After visiting the Fort Worth Zoo for inspiration, students were challenged with redesigning a habitat to include considerations for the animal both on and off exhibit, zookeeper safety, and visitor experience. They planned and drew their ideas to scale on graph paper before creating in Minecraft with other 5th grade zoological engineers. The URL below shows screen captures from their worlds but at Expo they would allow visitors to join via Chromebooks to "experience" their rebuild while also showing on a screen.
